I figured I’d post an update to the Corvette fall 2009 project. I hadn’t posted anything an awhile, and I figured this would be a good way to see just how many people are viewing stuff with no advertising. 
But First, an aside:
Make sure you have tile (or wood) from the garage to the kitchen to the can. That way, when you’re in need, you won’t add insult to injury by carrying grease or dirt on the carpet.

Lastly, I’ve got everything apart on the power steering, and suspect I know the solution, but see if you can figure it out:
The rack is _supposed to come out forward (up in the picture) and to the left…but between the frame and the mount for the power steering rack, it’s pretty well pinched in.
Someone’s going to tell me about removing that fitting at 2 o’clock to give me enough space to pull the rack.
