Determining the value and condition of an Oxy-acetylene rig…verdict: In good shape, much more expensive to REPLACE than you’d get if you sold it…I suspect I have a winter project here.
The Tesla Coil project continues…I needed a signal generator to perform the tuning, so I made this CanaKit kit:

As will be apparent in the upcoming posts, The family and I just got done with an extended vacation in Blaine, Washington. Upon hearing that the wife and I were gearheads, the local carshow asked if we would help judge. Silly me signed up for the Rod classes (street, Rat, etc.) which happened to be the single largest represented class, with each new example looking cooler than the last. (more…)
